Buckley Fall Session + Alice Campbell Alumni Center and Arboretum, Urbana, IL

Many people wonder what good it is for a photographer to specialize. Well, for me, there are many pros and cons, and maybe someday I’ll blog about it, but one of the main reasons is the time and attention I can put towards each client. For Courtney, that meant not one, but two sessions, which is one of my favorite things to do!

We met last fall for some photos on her family property outside of Buckley, IL. It was gorgeous and I loved exploring the grounds. We got a small pop of sun before we finished up and headed out. Afterwards, we met at her high school gym for a few photos in her volleyball jersey.

Then in the spring, we met up in Urbana at the Japanese Gardens. Another one of my favorite reasons to meet seniors twice is that they are so much more comfortable during their second session. They are already over the nerves of being in front of the camera, they know how I work, and they can rock their session like a total boss. And she did!

Congratulations on your graduation Courtney, you’re going to do great things!
