Green Acres Sportsmans Club, Roberts, IL

I cannot believe I haven’t blogged this engagement session from last winter! As one of my more challenging (I’ll explain in a bit) sessions, it turned out to be one of my favorites. Stephanie and Jake are both high school friends of mine from up north, and I was super excited when Stephanie asked me to photograph her and Jake’s wedding, which just so happens to be this Saturday!

You see, Jake and Stephanie both share many similar loves, and that includes their love for dogs. Four of them to be exact. Now, I’ve worked with dogs before. One or two here and there, but never four at the same time! But I am always up for a challenge, so bring it on! Stephanie even made the cutest bowtie’s and brought matching leashes to go along with their wedding scheme.

We had a very pretty day with a fresh coat of snow on the ground, which was just what we were hoping for. I love working at Green Acres Sportsman’s Club, as the owner’s are very dear friends of mine. They also train dogs, so I knew that bringing out a handful of puppies wouldn’t be a problem.

I cannot wait for Stephanie + Jake’s wedding this Saturday, it’s going to be so much fun!
