U of I Arboretum, Champaign, IL

Believe it or not, the first time I meet most of my couples is at their engagement session thanks to technology and online booking processes. However, I normally do chit chat a bit with at least the bride before then, when they inquire and book. In Megan + Caleb’s situation, it was a bit different. Megan’s sister-in-law happens to be my good friend Kaula, and when the two got engaged, she helped them so much with the initial planning processes and I was honored to have been top choice to photograph their big day. So I really did initially meet these two when we joined up for their engagement session at the U of I Arboretum last summer. These two weren’t shy to the camera at all (it helps having a family member who’s a photographer) and their session was so fun. They brought along their pride and joy furbaby to be included on the session, and he’s so cute!!! Their festivities are coming up very soon, so I’m excited to have them up on the blog!
